The Best Wood Pellet Stoves

Heat. That's a subject that family members can say they, for the most part, may not agree on. Some feel cold while others are feeling too warm. This, my friend, may be an argument that can go on forever and ever. Now as far as heat generation, that may be another discussion on what method is thought to heat the home most efficiently. Pellet stove fires burn very hot so they heat very efficiently.

Would it be a furnace, baseboard heating or a fireplace? How about the alternative? Something like the best wood pellet stoves may become a discussion as there are many styles to choose from.

You can also have the fireplace inserts which assist in heat reflection into the room or opt in for the wooden pellets. Wood pellet stoves have heating capacities between 8000 and 90,000 BTU's per hour.

There are two types of pellet fuel known as standard and premium pellets. Pellets can be purchased in bulk for about 120.00-200.00 a ton or smaller quantities of 40 pound bags from 3.00-4.00 each. A ton of pellets equals out to be about 1 1/2 cords of firewood.

Biomass fuel pellets are typically made of sawdust, corn or recycled wood shavings. Many users of pellet stoves use them as their main source for heating their homes as it is an energy saver with gas and oil prices continuing to rise. For those of you that like the look of a burning fire it would be of importance to find or speak to a dealer about a good flame pattern with a large viewing glass.

Selecting the right stove for you should be done with a reputable dealer where you have the ability to ask questions about the various stove models and the areas you may want to heat. You may have interest in a top fed versus bottom fed model or vice versa.

If you are considering fireplace inserts this is also a great topic to chat about  during your search. The best wood pellet stoves would of course be a personal opinion however, with all of the great information about them it will just be a fun time shopping around.
